Hen Party Ideas
Posted by: | CommentsSweet Wrappers
Hen parties can be great fun for the bride-to-be and her friends, particularly if you tailor it to your guest of honour. Nothing will be more fun than the bride-to-be spending a day and/or night with her best friends. There are lots of great activities to do and places to go in addition to your “traditional” types of hen party antics. Here are some ideas for you:
Spend a day, night or weekend at a Spa
Whether local or in a town setting or at a remote place, everyone is sure to have a relaxing time pampered with manicures and pedicures, massages, saunas, facials and mud baths.
Makeover
Take your friends to a beauty salon or have a professional make-up person come to the party so that everyone can get the full treatment. You could include this in a day of activities..
Ask the Avon lady to share great new products with everyone and then your friends can buy the bride-to-be all her favourite things for the big day.
Plan an afternoon at the local Make-It-Yourself Pottery Studio
Most companies and event places will let you bring your own food and drink. Make a party of it!
Ask the bride-to-be what kind of houseware she could use in her new home and let everyone make something in her chosen colors. Definitely a fun time for all with this one.

Fun with Bags
Posted by: | CommentsSometimes the simplest of party games is the best.
In this one you will need pencils, paper, paper bags and small items.
What you do is present various paper bags to party guests and ask them to guess the contents.
They are allowed to touch the bag to try and help.
If someone actually looks inside, they are out of the game!
The suggestions they make for the contents of particular bags are written down.
After about 20 minutes the person with the most correct answers wins theĀ party game.
Try to avoid anything sharp to be safe.

Party Game:Playing Cards
Posted by: | CommentsSplit your guests into 2 teams, and give each team 13 cards in 1 suit.
eg all in clubs or all in diamonds.
Better to use a different colour for each team.
The first guest in each team stands above the dustbin with the long edge of his playing card balancing on his nose.
They now allow the card to fall and hope it lands in the bin.
After the first player has dropped all his cards, he retrieves the ones that didn’t land in the bin and passes them to the next player.
This continues until the first team to get all cards in the bin is the winner
It’s quite tricky to get the final card in.

Flower Name Game
Posted by: | CommentsPlease line up paper, sellotape, safety pins and pencils
For each player there will be one piece of paper on which you write the name of flowers with 8 letters.
You then stick a paper on the back of each guest and you tell them the number of letters in their flower.
What they have to do is work out is the name of their flower by asking questions like
“Is there a letter C in my flower ?”
They write down the answer and then move on . They can’t ask the same person another question.
When they have found all the letters, they then take time out to work out what their flower is.
And the first person to do this is the winner.
You can stop cheating on this by making sure there are no mirrors in the room, or if there are, then covering them up.

Who will be the missing Party guest
Posted by: | CommentsEveryone stands in a circle with one selected person in the middle.
He or she is given 5 seconds to memorise who is in the circle before being blindfolded..
Then everyone mixes and 1 person sneaks out of the room.
When the person has the blindfold removed they must figure out who the missing person is.
If they don’t know the person’s name, they can describe him or her.
If the guess is right, the missing person is then blindfolded and the game continues.

Party Match making
Posted by: | CommentsIn this game every guest is given 10 cocktail sticks.
As guests mix and walk about they take a number of sticks in one hand and, with their hand closed, ask a 2nd person “odds or even?”
If they get the right answer, they give a stick to the 2nd person.
Now they swap and person 2 asks person 1 “Ods or even?”
This continues for a set time until the end is called and the player with the most sticks is the winner.
